My Visit With Bre!

What a great time I had with Bryana in Texas!  She is doing so good!  Before I even landed in Texas I was bombarded with texts and facebook messages letting all of her friends know "my mommy is coming!"  Needless to say, we were both very excited to see eachother!

When I arrived on Campus I was greeted by my girl and her friends.  I met many of her peers and NOT to my surprise most of them were just as bubbly as Bre!  Can you believe it!?  Ok, maybe not AS bubbly, but close.  She is in great company.  These "kids" that I met LOVE God and they LOVE "Breezy".  Yep, Breezy.  That is what everyone called her while I was there.  It was so funny to see her interact with people and all I could think of was, this is my little woman now!

As with any dorm, she lives in tight quarters, if you really know Bre you know what a miracle it is for her to even be so far away from home let alone being a roomate with five others!  She kept telling me how much she is learning and how quickly God is doing things in her life.  I could see it!

We played together, ate together, shopped together and worshipped together!  The perfect weekend with my girl!  Before I left I told her to pack her things because I was bringing her home...her friends protested and she looked at me with a smile and said, "no mom, I have to stay, this is where I'm supposed to be."

Proud cannot even begin to describe my feelings.  I am incredibly thankful and blessed!

Here comes Mommy!

Bryana Update! Sort of...

"Mommy read this email sent to us by our supervisor...this is what goes on in the ATF call center, hehehe, I thought about you for sure!"

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

I apologize for the morning confusion, but I wasn't able to make "da coffeez" before class this morning. Sorry to all of you that got hot water instead of coffee.

Good news though, Starbucks is on the way! Give the light about 20 minutes to turn orange and then you can fight over it.

PS: Mr. Lindsay doesn't understand the wonders of coffee. He says we "need to be delivered." I told him he's got some deliverance by way of coffee that needs to be taken care of. Please pray for him as he struggles to push back the darkness telling him that coffee is bad. He needs to see the light.

Look Out 8th Grade!

Very much ready for the first day of 8th Grade!  I'm not even sure the boy slept last night!  He had his goals all written out for the year and needless to say, he's feeling very good about, well, his looks (clothes)!  So it's my "bashful" boys first day of school....make us proud Jayson!
