Who's The Fairest Of Them All.....

Bryana Marie, but of course! 2010 Senior Prom is here!!  We had tons of fun getting her ready and then watching Bryana and Malik take pictures together was enough to bring tears to your eyes.  Great kids and friends who know how to have fun, off to dinner and then to Prom!  A bitter sweet day...Bryana's Senior Prom...her last!  We told her to dance the night away...and she did!

What a wonderful thing it is to watch your daughter grow into a beautiful young woman!  Not only is she a princess on the outside, she is a queen on the inside.  Not that I'm biased or anything, but Bre truly is a work of art!  She knows who she is, she knows what she wants and she brings out the best in everyone!

And little brother will not hesitate to tell you..."that's my sister!"  Needless to say we are all very proud of her and that was just Prom.  Can you imagine how Graduation will be a few weeks from now??

Happy 1st Birthday Mochaccino!

Of course we celebrated!!  We decide to have a party for Mocha during my home daycare hours and the kids LOVED it!  He was happy to get new toys and bones and especially enjoyed the 'Frozen Paws' (ice cream for dogs) we gave him...the party hat, NOT so much! :-)

We are so very happy that Mocha is apart of our family and it was only right to celebrate his birth!
We love you Mocha!

Happy Mother's Day...Indeed!

Any excuse to celebrate is my motto!  I woke to smiling faces and lots of "what can I do for you mom?"  Flowers are sweet and dinner is always nice but my favorite part of the day was hearing a funny yet beautiful poem from Bryana (she knows me so well!) AND the big bear hugs from Jayson that I got at bedtime!
I am truly blessed and sometimes I take this job that God has given me for granted.  As much as the complaints can overflow I must say, I wouldn't change one single thing!  Thank you Father...just hope I get a "well done" by you someday!

Jayhawk Country!

Did I mention that we LOVE basketball?!?!  Haha!  It was a treat for Jayson's Spring Basketball Team to enter into a tournament in our own hometown!  The Jayhawk Jr. Invitational.  We were able to go to The University of Kansas and go inside Allen Field House where the Jayhawks play!  It was extremely fun!  Even though our stay was brief and we didn't get to visit many friends or family, we enjoyed being in familiar land and among fellow Jayhawk fans (as many of you know this does not include my hubby, as he is a Duke fan...Booo)!

Jayson's team played well and went 2-2 in the tournament.  There was great competition from all over and it was a good experience for Jayson as well.
